KSET 2021: Karnataka SET 2021 exam postponed for the 2nd time
University of Mysore has once again postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2021 for Assistant Professorship. The KSET 2021 which was originally scheduled to be held on April 11, was postponed to April 25, and now has been further postponed. According to the notice release by the varsity, the new exam dates will be announced soon.
For KSET – 2021, center will be conducting tests in 41 subjects at Eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka state.

Candidates who qualify the KSET - 2021 are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the post of Assistant Professors of concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Karnataka State.
Candidates belongs to Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD), OBCs [Cat- I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB] should be as per the backward classes listed in Government of Karnataka web site: bcdbng@kar.nic.in.
KSET 2021 Paper Pattern
Paper-I: Shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper – II: Shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper – II on the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
