Uttarakhand college students demand postponement of exams

DEHRADUN: Even as the Uttarakhand government has announced the shut down of all educational institutions till April 30, 2021, several private colleges are continuing with their semester exams. Miffed with this, students have taken to social media demanding that their exams be postponed.
Besides a few private colleges, semester exams are also going on in Central Universities in the state.
Speaking to TOI, a student said, “The prevailing Covid-19 situation is not right for holding exams. We wish to go back to our native places before more curbs are announced.”
