You'll either love or hate the gentle pressure cocooning you, but the only way to know is to try one. They can get pricey, but thankfully, many of our favorites are on sale right now.

The general advice is to choose a blanket weight that's around 10 percent of your body weight. So if you're 150 pounds, that would be a 15-pound blanket.
