A man was fatally shot early Saturday in San Francisco’s Polk Gulch neighborhood, police said.
Officers were called around 1:40 a.m. to Fern and Polk streets by a report of a shooting. They found Robert Gash, 25, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter fled before officers arrived, police said. They gave no information about the suspect or suspected motive.
