Apparently, when you don’t make the NBA playoffs, you’ve got a lot more time on your hands.

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, for example, is about to kick off the third season of “Holey Moley,” the zany televised mini-golf competition that he executive produces and appears in.

To tout the return of the series, ABC concocted a wild promotional clip in which Curry is joined by Warriors teammates Draymond Green, Damion Lee and Kent Bazemore at a press conference to announce — of all things — that he wants to turn mini-golf into a professional sport, with its own league.

It will be one of “the Big 5 (leagues),” Curry declares, with tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Breaking news: The Warriors sharp-shooter has plenty of detractors. Green, never one to hold back, calls it a “really dumb idea.” Meanwhile, Jalen Rose thinks it just “may be Steph’s first air ball.” And ESPN’s mouthy commentator Stephen A. Smith goes ballistic, deeming the whole concept “ridiculous.”

For a few light hearted moments, check out the above video. Season 3 of “Holey Moley” premieres at 9 p.m. Thursday on ABC.
