Motor City Hoops (Ep. 40) - Detroit Pistons Draft Reactions

I had the absolute pleasure of being joined on the Motor City Hoops (@MotorCityHoops) podcast by Lazarus Jackson (@lazchance) to provide a recap, reactions and analysis on the Detroit Pistons draft class.

We started off with fan favorite Cade Cunningham and eventually talked about what we see in him as a player, but first we talked off the court intangibles. How much does it mean that Cade has seemed to fully embrace the city of Detroit? How important is his seemingly “magnetic” personality to his and the organization’s long term success?

We then moved on to talk about the “surprise” draft night trade of Mason Plumlee and what we believe it might mean for Isaiah Stewart and the rest of the roster. This led us into the conversation of Luka Garza and the rest of the second round picks (AND one UDFA, Chris Smith from UCLA).
