IGN has your exclusive first look at the trailer for the upcoming film We Need to Do Something, which made a splash with the horror press when it debuted at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.

Sean King O’Grady makes his feature directorial debut here from a screenplay by Max Booth III, based on his own novel.
The movie was shot amidst strict pandemic protocols last year. In a press release at the time of the film's acquisition by IFC Midnight, O'Grady described We Need to Do Something as a "hilariously sick film we concocted to exorcise our own personal pandemic demons."
The film's official plot synopsis breaks the story down as follows:
"After Melissa and her family seek shelter from a storm, they become trapped. With no sign of rescue, hours turn to days and Melissa comes to realize that she and her girlfriend Amy might have something to do with the horrors that threaten to tear her family - and the entire world - apart."
The cast includes several faces familiar to genre fans: Sierra McCormick (The Vast of Night, American Horror Stories), Vinessa Shaw (Hocus Pocus), Pat Healy (The Innkeepers), and John James Cronin (NOS4A2), along with newcomer Lisette Alexis.
Producers include William Stertz, Josh Malerman, Ryan Lewis, and Peter Block. Lauren Hantz and John Hantz are executive producers.
We Need to Do Something opens in theaters, Digital and VOD on Friday, September 3.
