Barricade shoes were first introduced more than 20 years ago, but in 2018 Adidas discontinued them and replaced them with the SoleCourt Boost model. Tennis fans urged Adidas to bring back their favorite footwear and the sporting goods manufacturer decided to carry on the Barricade legacy this summer with the footwear’s 2021 edition.
The latest Barricade reinvents the most successful Adidas tennis franchise with game-solving features such as a tested torsion system, an asymmetric lacing system, and geofit for comfort.
