Um, hello: After getting through a bunch of drama-filled episodes, we can now say that Blake Moynes has made to the finals of Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette! Twitter was incredibly thirsty over him when he showed up—despite the fact that this is literally his third attempt to find love with a Bachelorette...a fact that fans (and Blake’s sister lol) happily pointed out, free of charge.

Of course, if you’re not already familiar with Blake thanks to his previous stint in Bachelor Nation, we have you covered with a ton of important facts not to mention some massive spoilers at the very end of this story (those are at the bottom, so keep scrolling). AHEM:

Yes, Blake Competed on Clare’s and Tayshia’s Season

Poor Blake had to deal with Clare Crawley rejecting him after five minutes for Dale Moss (dude was so shocked that he started stress-balding), but he got another chance at love with Tayshia Adams...who also ended up rejecting him. Here he is crying, bless:

You might be thinking to yourself, wWhy the hell is Blake competing on Katie’s season when his ex is literally hosting it? But here’s the thing:

Blake and Katie Were Talking *Before* The Bachelorette Started Filming

Nick Viall confirmed this on Us Weekly’s Here for the Right Reasons podcast, saying, “It sounds like there was some dialogue between Katie and Blake. I don’t think it was to the degree that it was with [me and] Kaitlyn [Bristowe]. [For us], it was like a pretty intense, you know, two months of dialogue, but I do think Blake will go far.”

Meanwhile, Katie told Us Weekly that they chatted, but she made it sound super platonic:

“I definitely knew who he was, which [is] also Tayshia’s ex-boyfriend! So that’s weird. We had chatted before, but usually what happens is, like, the guys will reach out to the women once they’re eliminated and be like, ‘Good luck, you did great.’ Like very generic, you know? And so to see him, I was like, ‘Why is he here?’ Like, ‘What’s happening?’”

Blake later hopped in on the conversation, and confirmed he chatted with Katie before showing up on her season...by sliding into her DMs. “When I actually reached out that first time, after the first episode, her responses were very cold back,” Blake said during an episode of the Click Bait podcast. “She was nice, but she didn’t open up her dialogue in any way. It was shut down right then and there.”

“It was right after her first episode. It was right away. This is where people, I think, can take what I’m about to say one way or another. She came out of that limo with that vibrator, I was like, ‘Yeah, I like what she’s about,’” Blake added. Apparently, that was enough for Blake to contact ABC’s team and hop on a plane for a chance to win Katie’s heart!

Blake Is a Wildlife Manager

Just some quick fun facts about Blake in case you missed him last season. Our dude is a wildlife manager from Canada and “spends his days happily working outdoors.” Wow, kinda like me except indoors! Also, he loves picnics and volunteers with endangered species in his free time. Despite all this cuteness, Blake is the last single person left in his friend group, which is perhaps why he’s so eager to date three women in a row on national television.

He Has a Type

And it is not me. Blake’s “dream woman” is “outdoorsy” and she has to be okay with his “potty mouth.” Kay!

He’s a ~Rule Breaker~

During Clare’s season, Blake broke their no-contact rule and reached out to check in when she was having trouble being away from her mom in quarantine. Here’s what Clare told Blake at the time:

“Over quarantine, it was really hard for me. And you were the only guy that reached out to me the entire time. I want you to know that that time you broke the rule meant everything to me. The fact that you risked not coming on here and putting that on the line, at a time where I was really struggling, it meant everything to me.”

Who knows if Blake broke any secret rules on Katie’s season, but I’m pretty sure showing up unplanned counts.

Blake Has a Dog, a Cat, and a Rhino

Okay, fine, technically, he “adopted” the rhino, kinda like I adopted a bat in third grade, but still. Cuteness ahead:

He Has a Lot of Bachelor Nation Crushes

Blake told Ashley I. that he had his “eye” on three women from the franchise, saying, “I like that Kendall Long has an interest in animals and loves that kind of thing. We could connect in that way. And she’s cute.” He added that Andi Dorfman’s “got her shit together,” and said Kristina Schulman is “really good-looking.” Noted.

His Family Is Huge

So many siblings and doggos!

He Plays Hockey

I mean, duh, Canada:

Aaaaaand He Has His Own Merch Now???

I mean, wouldn’t you also sell T-shirts if you had three cycles of Bachelorette fame to capitalize off of?

Blake Wins the Season!!

Before even appearing on the show, Reality Steve revealed in a spoiler post that Blake is the winner of Katie’s Bachelorette season...and they leave the show engaged!

“Katie is engaged to Blake Moynes. Yes, I know, he’s not on the show yet. But he will be next week...sure, I expect there to be doubt like every season. All I can say is it’s been about a 7 week process since filming ended to get this info, and I’m very confident in what I’ve been told.”

And that’s all we know about Blake for now—can’t wait for he and Katie to tie the knot!
