Iran unveils Borhan system, Alborz 3-D radar

Tehran, IRNA -- Borhan system and Alborz 3-D radar were unveiled in the presence of Air Defense Force Commander Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi on Wednesday.

Alborz three dimensional phased-array radar has been designed for intercepting and detecting long-range targets with stealth low radar cross-section targets. Its maximum radar range is 450 km and can to identify low-flying targets. Alborz can simultaneously intercept 300 targets .

Borhan is a low-altitude last command line control center for weapons in air defense system. It receives and analyzes the data from all sources and then sends them to the highest levels of command to make decisions as soon as possible and carry out the necessary operation.
