Gators O-Line Placed on Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll

The award is for the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football.

NEW YORK - The Florida Gators offensive line unit has been placed on the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll, the Foundation for Teamwork announced Tuesday.

Since 2015 the award has been presented to the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football. Nineteen total O-Lines were honored with six teams from the SEC.

Florida earns the midseason selection for the first time.

The line this season for the Gators has paved the way for the offense to rank in the top-5 in rushing offense all year at 254.3 yards per game and 6.3 yards per rush. They have allowed only five sacks all season, tied for the seventh lowest in FBS and second in the conference. Florida has produced 400-plus total yards of offense in 16 of the 17 last games, including 29 of the last 36.

The Joe Moore Award voting committee will announce semifinalists on Nov. 16 and finalists on Dec. 7.
