We are pleased to announce that the XXIII FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics, held virtually from 21 to 28 October 2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 27 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

On the final day of the Congress, delegates will receive a link to complete an online CME survey, with questions related to the content of the sessions which were broadcast on the live Congress days.

CME certificates will be issued based on the completed survey and emailed to the delegates on 15 December 2021, if the completed survey is received by 15 November 2021.

For the delegates who complete the survey after 15 November and before 31 December 2021, the certificates will be distributed on 17 January 2022.

Please note final deadline to complete the CME survey is 31 December 2021.
