Jennifer Lopez is once again attempting to offload the Manhattan penthouse she purchased for $20.16 million in 2014, per Realtor.com. The performer first listed the 10,000-square-foot apartment about six years ago, and has listed and delisted the pad nearly every year since, according to public records. Even after a $2 million price cut in 2019, followed by another removal from the market in 2021, she’s still been unable to sell it. Perhaps the Shotgun Wedding star’s efforts to shed the property will yield more favorable results this time around.

Located just around the corner from Madison Square Park in The Whitman building, the four-bedroom, eight-bathroom penthouse is no less grand than the city it’s located in. Though the building was originally constructed in 1924, it’s been fully modernized with Italian marble and recessed lighting, along with other key amenities like a private key locked elevator and a smart home system. The aforementioned elevator opens into the unit’s impressive grand room, which has 12-foot-high ceilings like the rest of the space’s rooms, along with skylights that add to the feeling of spaciousness. French doors open to one of four terraces, offering an area to enjoy the sights and sounds of New York without being too enmeshed in the hubbub. Upstairs, the romantic primary suite features French doors fronted by white diaphanous floor-to-ceiling drapes that open up to terraces in both the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom.

Another draw is the decadent chef’s kitchen with sleek custom white cabinetry, a large island, a temperature-controlled wine refrigerator, and numerous windows that usher in the atmosphere of New York and maintain the brightness of the space.

Though she’s certainly been trying to free her real estate portfolio of the abode for some time, the task has not stopped Lopez from acquiring additional luxe properties—including the gargantuan $61 million Beverly Hills home she and Ben Affleck picked up in June following their wedding last summer.
