The New York City apartment of prolific late actor Olympia Dukakis, known for her work in Moonstruck and Steel Magnolias, has been listed by her children for $4.2 million, the New York Post reports. The three bedroom, two bathroom space is one of only 24 units in a 1904 building which is a designated New York City Landmark.

The loft-style space gets loads of light thanks to its south facing orientation and its location at the corner of the building, which allows for even more windows than usual. The all white walls and ceilings maintain the brightness of the space, while the wood window trimmings throughout the apartment nod to the building’s history. Not only do the windows offer plenty of light, but they also allow residents to appreciate the stylish NoHo locale all day long. With 3,100 square feet, there’s plenty of space to go around and the great room takes up much of it, offering a dining area and two separate lounge areas. The large living space is connected to the kitchen, which features custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and a large island.

Wood trimmed french doors separate the rooms, with the primary suite in the back corner flaunting a pair of oversized windows on two of its four walls. The spacious primary bathroom includes a large standing shower, stone floor tiling, dual sinks, and two large wood vanities. According to property records, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Dukakis reportedly purchased the property in an off market deal and lived in the space until her passing earlier this year at 89 years of age.

“Olympia and her husband, Louis Zorich, both actors, lived here since 1989. Steeped with history, the two hosted fabulous parties with families and friends in this loft,” listing agent Wendy Juan tells AD. She holds the listing along with Tami Kurtz.
